IMPACTS "JUSTIFIED"

Significant adverse impacts on human health due to hub activity have been determined. We feel impacts to Human Health cannot be “Justified”

“Decision on environmental effects referred to in subsection 5(2) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 ….In accordance with paragraph 52(4)(a) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012, the Governor in Council decided that the significant adverse environmental effects that the Designated Project is likely to cause are justified in the circumstances.”

In Minister Wilkinson’s own words please, “help us build a healthier, fairer, and more resilient future that we can be proud to pass on to our children and grandchildren.” We urgently, and respectfully request the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to rescind the approval of the CN Logistic Hub.

We ask you to write an email to Hon. Minister Wilkinson to express your concern of the approval decision and ask our Government to rescind their decision. Email addresses are on our web page. Write a letter in your own words, or use the template letters.

Visit www.miltonrail.com/action for a list of email address. Some people have requested a form letter. We have provided three letter samples on the site, feel free to use them as is or for information to include in your own letter. We fully support Halton Region, the Town of Milton, Town of Oakville, Town of Halton Hills and the City of Burlington in the unanimous stand against the CN Logistic Hub. Thank you everyone for your continued support. Please send your email letter today and invite your friends and family to do the same.

Please participate it will only take a few minutes. Thank you!
