RAIL Postcards

As the new ministers may not be familiar with the significant issues regarding the proposed CN Logistics Hub proposed in Milton, RAIL has prepared three individual postcards to be sent to three Cabinet Minsters: The Hon. Marc Garneau, Minister of Transportation; The Hon. Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and The Hon. Ralph Goodall, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.

Contact us at info@MiltonRAIL.com to receive postcards. Please provide us with your phone number and address and we will deliver cards to you.

If you would like to distribute cards to your friends and neighbours we would be happy to provide you with additional cards.

Some businesses are leaving some in their lunchroom or office waiting room. Please advise us as to how many sets you would like and we will arrange delivery.

Completed postcards can be dropped into any Canda Post mail box. The postcards are pre-addressed and DO NOT REQUIRE POSTAGE.

E-PETITION

The hardcopy petition has also been registered as an E-Petition with the House of Commons. You are invited to sign and share the E-Petition with your friends, family, and co-workers.

Please share the links for the E-Petition via social media and email. If you need help constructing an email please send us a message at info@miltonrail.com and we would be happy to send you and email to forward.

If you are speaking to people about the proposed intermodal you can direct them to this website. www.MiltonRAIL.com and they will find the link for the E-Petition on the top right of the Home Page.

HARDCOPY PETITION

In answer to a question we are still being asked...YES! Each of the five Milton Federal Candidates has signed the Petition stating opposition to the proposed Milton CN Logistics Hub (Intermodal Terminal).

The petition is being taken to parliament once it reconvenes after the election. Our local MP will be presenting it on behalf of Milton RAIL, MiltonSaysNo and each and every one of you that signed the petition.

Please do contact us once the petition sheets are completed so they are not misplaced. We should also mention here that anyone who downloaded the shared petition may email us at info@miltonrail.com to make arrangements for pick up or drop off.

If you have a petition sheet(s) which are not complete and would like to return that now please do. All signatures are important to the petition. Partial sheets are still submitted to parliament.

Thank you to each and every one of you who generously volunteered your time to collect petition signatures and to everyone who has signed the petition.
